What is Coaching?

Coaching is an emerging profession that began in the early nineties. It has been shown that one-on-one coaching is among the most effective approaches to helping people make and sustain improvements in their lives. A coach enables change by focusing on a client's stated agenda including vision, values, needs and goals, helping to bring about that individual's optimum. Differing from psychologists and therapists which help a client understand how the past is influencing the present, a coach focuses on the present and helps a client move toward a healthy future.

Is Kristi Certified?

Yes. Kristi is a Certified Health Coach through Wellcoaches who has an exclusive partnership with the American College of Sports Medicine to train professionals. Kristi has taken from years of training and educating herself bringing her and her family to various realms of health and wellness to refining the process of helping others by becoming a Certified Health Coach. Her desire is to help others achieve their health goals efficiently as possible with the greatest ahcievalbe outcomes.

How does health coaching work?

Health coaching is done by phone. This convenience benefits clients as they are able to coach with a Certified Health Coach no matter where they live. This also makes clients feel more comfortable discussing health challenges and how to overcome them. Also, since Kristi travels and speaks, she is still able to schedule your coaching appointments without any lapses in your schedule. Kristi is also available to do a one time coaching overview of your situation if a long term (3 or more months) is not something you are ready to commit to.
